Bourne Academy leavers will have their prom night, headteacher has pledged

The headteacher of two rapidly improving secondary schools in Spalding and Bourne respectively has told leavers: "You will not be forgotten".

Lucy Conley, executive headteacher of Spalding Academy and Bourne Academy, has promised Year 11 and 13 students due to leave both schools this summer that their prom nights will go ahead.

In a letter to parents before the Easter holidays, Mrs Conley reassured parents that senior staff at both schools were working hard to support all students during what she described as a "surreal and challenging time for us all" due to the coronavirus pandemic.
