Things to do in Oakham, Rutland: a mini music festival is taking place at Cutts Close on Sunday

A family fun day with fairground rides, a giant sandpit and Punch and Judy show was staged at Cutts Close in Oakham on Sunday.

Oakham Town Council is hosting events in the park to encourage people to get out and about.

The giant sandpit was a big hit on the day, thanks to Hanson Cement at Ketton which donated the sand for free.

This Sunday (August 25) there will be a mini music festival in Cutts Close from midday to 8pm.
