A TOP superbike rider has become a patron of an emergency medical delivery charity.

Chris “The Stalker” Walker has lent his support to the Lincolnshire Emergency Blood Bikes Service, which delivers by motorcycle urgently-needed medical items to wherever they are required.

Chris has been a top flight rider for almost 20 years and still competes in the British Superbike Championship.

The charity approached him about becoming a patron at his new track in Gonerby Moor, Grantham, and Chris and his wife Rachel took an interest straight away.

The charity aims to provide a free, out-of-hours service, with collections and deliveries of blood, blood products, medical equipment and baby milk from hospitals and medical facilities around Lincolnshire.
