Surprise prize raffle raises £600 for hospices including the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice




A 'Captain Tom 100 challenge' has raised £600 towards hospice care.

Audrey Kilsbury from Duddington's surprise gift raffle will result in £200 donations to the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough, Naomi House Children's Hospice in Dorset and Katharine House Hospice in Oxfordshire.

Prizes will be allocated to the 100 ticket-holders through a draw taking place tomorrow (Friday, May 7).

Audrey said she had been 'overwhelmed' by the support received.
