Mortgage and financial protection advice will be made simple by new company Stamford and Rutland Money
A new mortgage company is seeking to build long-term relationships with clients by offering simple, no-nonsense advice.
Iain Prior has launched Stamford and Rutland Money with the aim of helping people get to grips with their mortgages and financial protection.
Backed by the established business Fairfield Money, Iain is well placed to support all types of customers from first time buyers to those looking for buy to let mortgages.
The firm also supports people who are renting a property.
Iain said: "I'm passionate about helping people with straightforward advice. Mortgages don't need to be complicated.
"We also highlight the importance of being financially protected. It's not just for home-owners but for renters too. We encourage people to think about what would happen if they suddenly became ill and couldn't work. How would they pay the bills?
"We want to build lasting relationships with people through the different stages of their life. We can support them from buying first homes through to having children and finding a forever home.
"We strive to make the whole process less stressful."
The company is currently based in Carlby but Iain plans to open an office in Stamford and take on new staff.
One of his most recent successes was helping a client to review their mortgage. The end result was a slight reduction in monthly payments but also shaving six years from their mortgage term. The overall saving will be about £40,000.
Iain said: "This highlights the value and importance of seeking professional advice regarding your mortgage. It's much better to have that money in your own pocket."
Appointments are available by telephone, video call or face to face.
Away from the office, Iain also wants the company to become a part of the community.
Having grown up in Stamford, he is keen for Stamford and Rutland Money to support local ventures and is looking for possible sponsorship opportunities.
