Police issue warning after teenagers trespass and damage social club.

In recent weeks, Lincolnshire Police has received reports of young people attending the Market Deeping Sports and Social Club in Towngate East during the evenings and loitering in the outside areas.

While there, some people have caused damage and left mess for the volunteers at the club to clean up.

There is extensive CCTV, which officers have been reviewing and those involved in any offences are being visited by the police.

In a post on the Stamford, Bourne and Deeping Police Facebook page, officers said: "The sports and social club is private property and is not a public open space like the local parks.

"If you have a teenager or young adult, please make them aware that they are in fact trespassing if they are using the area as somewhere to hang out with friends.

"As with many sports clubs in the area, this club is run mainly by volunteers and it is unfair for them to have to keep clearing up after others who use the space inappropriately."
