A-level results 2021: A wide range of university courses await pupils from Arthur Mellows Village College




Pupils from Arthur Mellows Village College are looking forward to the next chapter of their lives after receiving A-level results today.

Staff were delighted that so many teenagers have secured places at their chosen university.

Chosen subjects include veterinary science, mathematics, law, drama, history, psychology, sport and English literature. Other pupils will embark on an apprenticeship.

Head of sixth form, Emma Kavanagh, said: "We want to congratulate all of them for their efforts and hard work in what has been an extremely hard two years for them. The resilience and determination they have shown is commendable."

The school gave special mention to Emily Chan, Tiffany Chan, Sadie Collie, Jacob Cook, Emma Covill, Isabella Crowther, Omar Ellis, Ally Froggatt, Sam Garner, Annie Gidney, Michael Greene, Gray Hailey, Isobel Hailey, Luch Hales, Harvey Hancock, Piper Hebditch, Claudia Horrocks, Bryn Jones, Andrea Lappin, Tilly Little, Chris Logan, Olivia Nolan, Owen Oldfield-Rose, Daria Slaby, Joshua Snowden, Morgan Thompson, Philippa Thompson and Mackenzie Whyman.

Incoming head of the college, Jonathan Oakley, said: “It has been an incredibly demanding end to the students’ time at the college and we are immensely proud of everyone. I would like to say a personal well done to all students for their hard work.”
