A fundraiser has thanked those who helped her raise thousands for charity during seven years of book stalls.

Jane Jones has decided to stop holding her monthly sale in Oakham. She has supported the Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland Air Ambulance and East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme for the past seven years, raising hundreds of pounds every year.

Jane, who also holds garage sales at her home in Churchill Road, which will continue, thanked all her customers over the years.

The market stall is available for free, so anyone who would like to use it to support a charity of their choice can call Jane on 07754 546312. Books are still available for small charities and care homes.
