RESIDENTS and staff at a care home in Bourne got into the Olympic mood by holding their own games in the garden.
On a beautiful sunny afternoon the residents at The Cedars Nursing Home in Church Walk, celebrated the Olympics by holding their own take on games in their garden.
Recreation and leisure coordinator Jean Kowalczyk said:“We had a great time. We had a good 15 residents out there in the sunshine and it got quite competitive at times, it always does.
“We have all been watching the Olympics on a big screen and some of the residents have been glued to it.
“We wanted to do our own take on it.”
Residents and staff took part in a variety of games, including ski ball, hoopla, skittles and beanbag target throwing.
Everyone who took part was presented with a gold medal for their efforts.
