Stamford, Bourne and The Deepings police inspector Gary Stewart urges the public to stick to the latest Tier 3 coronavirus restrictions

A police inspector has urged people to stick to the latest coronavirus restrictions as the country comes out of lockdown.

South Kesteven has been placed into Tier 3 while the surrounding areas of Rutland, Cambridgeshire and East Northamptonshire are all under Tier 2 guidelines.

Government advice states that people should avoid travelling outside of their areas unless it is necessary for work, education, youth services, to receive medical treatment or because of caring responsibilities.
