Stamford and Rutland Photographic Society's latest competition winners.

The Stamford and Rutland Photographic Society held their digital projected image competition in March with the theme of yellow.

The competition was judged by Gareth Gough who had a difficult job with 48 images competing. The final results showed a diverse range of subjects and photographic techniques.

Andy Hunting dominated the competition with a range of pictures that showcased his travels and a range of bold yellow objects.

Veronica Watson was second with a mixture of flowers and easter chickens that showed excellent composition and imagination.

Gordon Brown was third with a collection of wonderful underwater images showcasing cleaver lighting in difficult conditions.

StJohn Burkett was fourth with a range of different yellows. These included an image of a dew-spangled flower in which he had immaculately captured the details.

The next meeting takes place on April 18 at Great Casterton Village Hall with the subject of emotion.
