Rutland Musical Theatre marks 40th anniversary with performance of 'Fiddler on the Roof'
A group set up to save the name of Rutland will take to the stage to celebrate 40 years of being in the limelight.
George Baldwin came up with the idea for the Rutland Musical Theatre group in 1980 after moving to the county to be closer to his daughter Angela Smith.
Along with choreographer Joel Walton, current president John Hackett and Uppingham School master Christopher Richardson, the first stage musical company in the county began.
