Thieves target shops in Stamford, Bourne and Market Deeping

Police have appealed for witnesses after three businesses, including two charity shops, were burgled in 24 hours.

The British Heart Foundation shop in High Street, Stamford, was broken into between 4pm on Sunday (January 3) and 9am yesterday (January 4). The thieves got in through the back of the building and stole a small amount of cash and jewellery.

If you saw anything, call 101 quoting incident 81 of January 4.

Thieves also tried to break into the British Red Cross shop in North Street, Bourne, at about 1.40am yesterday. Incident 75 of January 4.

And Lilli’s Tea Room in Market Gate, Market Deeping, was burgled on Sunday night. Thieves got in by climbing over the roof and smashing a shop window. Once inside they stole money from a charity box. Incident 51 of January 4.
