Warning about purse thefts in Stamford




Shoppers are being warned to keep an eye on their belongings after two women had their purses stolen this morning (Friday, January 10).

Members of staff in Card Factory in Stamford High Street were warning customers to be on their guard today.

One woman had her purse in her handbag which was inside her shopping trolley when it was stolen.

Stamford town centre is particularly busy with the return of most of the market stalls after the festive break, and today's good weather.
