This is how much the contactless card payment limit is to rise by

From next week the spending limit for contactless card payments will be increased from £30 to £45.

The national roll-out begins on Wednesday, April 1, UK Finance has announced.

It comes at a time when chain stores such as Central England Co-op are encouraging customers to pay for goods contactlessly.
