Dove Cottage in Ridlington, Rutland, receives a donation from the Braunston May Fair after being its chosen charity for 2019




After a record year in terms of money raised at the Braunston May Fair, Dove Cottage Hospice in Ridlington have benefited from a £2,300 donation.

The hospice was this year's chosen charity and in total, the fair raised £11,500 that will also go to the village church and hall.

Peter Allen, chairman of of the May Fair committee, said: "Everyone on the committee is extremely pleased to be able to donate such a significant sum to such a worthy charity.

"Debs and Kylie from Dove Cottage were overwhelmed with the donation which they say will go a long way to helping the charity to continue to provide such a valuable service."
