Three men charged with conspiracy to steal in connection to lead thefts at churches across Lincolnshire




Three men have been charged in connection with lead thefts from a number of churches across Lincolnshire.

Paul Buica, 25, of George Street, Birmingham, Constantin Motescu, 31, of Stebbings, Sutton Hill, Telford and Luarentiu Sucea, 38, of George Street, Birmingham, have been charged with conspiracy to steal and offences in relation to the Proceeds of Crime Act.

They were arrested on Friday (March 20) last week.

The charges relate to incidents between August 2018 and this month.

They have all been remanded in custody to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday April 20 pending the current situation with coronavirus.

Three out of four men previously arrested in connection with lead theft remain on bail.

The fourth man, Constantin Motescu, 31, is one of those charged.
