A CHARITY which helps get people into employment has received a donation this week from one of its former clients.
A £500 grant was made by a single individual after they found work thanks to the assistance of Bourne based employment service Toolbar.
Toolbar, which is based at the Bourne Snooker Centre in Cherryholt Road, Bourne, and meets on Monday mornings, helps unemployed people in Bourne to track down a new job, and provides assistance creating CVs and application letters.
Manager Neville Hydes said: “It just blows me away. It makes you realise that you are doing something great for the community.
“Now the client we helped has got a job, they have donated so other people can find work. That is the amazing thing about it.”
Last week we reported Bourne Baptist Church had given Toolbar a £500 grant to help fund their work, when in fact the generous people at the church had actually donated £1,000.
