Tools of ‘high value’ stolen from workshops in Aslackby

A gang of thieves have stolen CCTV equipment and compressor tools of a “high value” from workshops in Aslackby.

Chop saws, nail guns, drills and a large amount of screws and nails were all taken in a raid on workshops at an isolated yard in the village between 8pm on Saturday and 6am on Sunday.

Thieves also stole the yard’s CCTV recording equipment.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area should call 101, quoting incident number 63 of May 14.
