Stamford Singers performing a 'Last Night of the Proms Concert at Trinity Methodist Church

Stamford’s very own “Last Night of the Proms” concert will be held on Saturday, June 29 in Trinity Methodist Church, Barn Hill in Stamford.

Stamford Singers will lead the concert and will be joined by soloists Dawn Herbert and Rob Gildon.

The choir will be conducted by Paul White and accompanied by David Lovell Brown.


Many of the traditional ‘Last Night’ favourites such as Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory will be included in the programme.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12from Stamford Arts Centre - 01780 763203,or on the door.

Stamford Singers has around 30 members from Stamford and the surrounding area. This established chamber choir performs fund raising concert locally and also travels the country singing services in cathedrals.

This event will raise money for Barn Hill Outreach, Cricket with Learning Difficulties, Rotary charities, and The Evergreen Care Trust.
