LEARN MOREGreen spaces and council gardens dotted around housing estates could be brought into local control to keep them tidy for residents.
Bourne Town Council is considering stepping in to look after the parcels of land because Environment SK - a company set up by South Kesteven District Council - has an uncertain future.
The areas of grass and trees have been under Environment SK’s remit for cutting and tidying. Grass areas covered by Lincolnshire County Council have been looked after by Bourne Town Council for a while.
