Drivers will face delays on a key Rutland route until next week.
The A6006 between Whissendine Road, just outside Langham, and the Leicestershire border, has been closed for maintenance since Monday.
It will reopen for the weekend, but two-way traffic lights will be in place on Monday while road studs are installed.
Drivers will be diverted via the A6003, A47 and B6047 for the duration of the closure.
And the same road will close from Monday until November 28 between Hambleton and Barnsdale for resurfacing. Local traffic will be diverted via the C8324 Barnsdale Avenue and B668 for the duration of the closure.
Heavy goods vehicles will be diverted via the C8326 Manton to Edith Weston road and A6003.
A Rutland County Council spokesman apologised for any inconvenience and said dates for the closures were subject to change depending on weather conditions.
