Have your say

AN ACCIDENT near Tixover involving a lorry and car caused 180 litres of fuel to spill onto the road and verge at about 4pm yesterday (Thursday).

The crash happened on the A47 and an air ambulance, road ambulance and two fire engines were called to the scene. One man was taken to Peterborough City Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The Environment Agency were initially contacted but it did not need to send anyone as it was deemed there was no risk of the fuel contaminating water supplies.
