A MAN suffered a broken pelvis and two other people were injured in a car crash on Sunday.

The 29-year old male from Peterborough was taken to Peterborough City Hospital after the red Skoda Octavia he was driving collided with a black Peugeot 406 on the junction between the A16 and King Street, in West Deeping, at about 6pm on Sunday evening.

A 34-year old woman from Graby who was a passenger in the Skoda was also taken to hospital with leg injuries.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 59-year old man from Werrington, suffered minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.

A third vehicle collided with the two cars after the initial impact, but the driver was unhurt.

The A16 was closed from West Deeping to Market Deeping until about 9pm while the vehicles were recovered.
