Police name driver who died in three-car collision in Toft

POLICE have named the man who died following a three-car collision on the A6121 in Toft.

Paul Johnson, 40, of Manthorpe, died on Saturday after his white Audi A5 collided with a beige Kia Sedona and a black Audi A4 at about 10pm.

Mr Johnson was taken to Peterborough City Hospital following the crash but died a short time later.

The passenger of the A5, a 46-year-old local man, and the driver of the Kia, a 32-year-old local man, were also taken to hospital but have since been released.

An 82-year-old man died in a collision on the A15 in Baston on Friday. He was driving a car which was involved in a collision with a lorry at about 1.15pm. The driver and a passenger in the lorry were also injured. The 82-year-old has not yet been named.

Police are appealing for witnesses to each collision.
