Stamford College plants tree for the Platinum Jubilee

College students have planted a tree for the Platinum Jubilee.

A tree planting ceremony took place at Stamford College which was attended by air and defence students and members of the Inspire Education Group.

A native silver birch tree was planted and a commemorative plaque was unveiled to mark the occasion.

The plaque was made by veterans in conjunction with Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company which is providing employment to veterans allowing them to gain new skills and re-adjust to civilian life.
