Two candidates for Oakham Town Council by-election


A by-election is to be held for the vacant North West seat on Oakham Town Council.

Polls will open at 7am on Thursday, November 19, and close at 10pm the same day. The candidates are Jim Harrison, of Alexander Crescent, Oakham, and John Kennedy, of Braunston Road, Oakham.

The polling station is the Scout Hall in Grampian Way.

The election was called after Rebecca Hearn stepped down from her seat.
