Two new defibrillators for Empingham

I’m very happy to report that after a short spell of local fundraising and generous donations from the Karen Ball Fund, two community defibrillators have now been installed in Empingham by the Community Heartbeat Trust, writes Sue Ward.

One is at the White Horse and the other at the Methodist Church, and accessible to all.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Martin and the Community Heartbeat Trust, and to Juliet, trustee of the Karen Ball Fund, both of whom have made this possible.

I knew from the outset we were in the safest of hands and believe that this collaboration is a marriage made in heaven.

The awareness seminar delivered by Martin was first rate and I am confident of their full support going forwards, believing them to be the best.

Empingham residents are extremely grateful for this potential gift of life, in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.
