Uffington villagers unite to buy life-saving kit




A tight-knit community has united to buy a life-saving piece of equipment for their village.

The people of Uffington have got together to raise £1,800 to buy a defibrillator - used to help save cardiac arrest victims.

Coun Rosemary Trollope-Bellew has made a donation while cash generated by a village festival, parish council money and contributions from residents helped to hit the total.
