Coronavirus: UK cases jump by 676 in 24 hours - but still no cases recorded in Rutland




The number of UK coronavirus cases has risen by 676 in the last 24 hours, according to health experts.

The total number of confirmed cases today (Wednesday, March 18) is 2,626.

Of these, seven cases are attributed to people from Leicestershire, four in Lincolnshire, 12 in Northamptonshire and 12 in Cambridgeshire.

Rutland still has no recorded cases.

However, a breakdown of where the latest cases are has not yet been issued by Public Health England.
