Unhappiness at rising crime in Stamford




A former police sergeant says he is ‘not happy’ to see changes in the way crime is being recorded as an explanation for rising crime in Stamford.

Richard Clark, who worked out of Stamford Police Station as both a constable and sergeant in the 1970s and 1980s, made the comments as the most recent reported crime statistics in Stamford has increased from 146 in November last year to 167 in October.
