Fire crews responding to alarms sounding in Stamford following a major power cut

Large parts of Stamford including the town centre and the Stamford Mercury office were without electricity for around an hour today, Tuesday April 12.

Alarms sounding throughout the town centre due to the power outage with fire crews responding to ensure they were false alarms..

Western Power said the issue as resolved at around 3pm and all properties should have electricity again.
