UPDATED: Three suspects charged after Barnardo's burglary drama

Three men have been charged with aggravated burglary after a Barnardo's charity store was raided.

The trio have appeared in court and were remanded in custody after the shop in Sedgefield Court, Elsea Park, Bourne, was targeted just after midnight on Friday morning.

Police backed up by the force helicopter and dog unit raced to the scene after the alarm was raised.

Scott Nash, 38, of Drummond Close, Hampton Gardens, Peterborough, has been charged with aggravated burglary on September 7 and assault with intent to resist arrest, Lincolnshire Police said today.

Derek Nash, 45, of no fixed address, has been charged with aggravated burglary on September 7, burglary of dwelling and theft, and assault with intent to resist arrest.

Jason O’Keefe, 39, also of no fixed address, was charged with aggravated burglary on September 7, assault with intent to resist arrest and burglary of a dwelling with intent to steal.

All three men appeared at Lincoln magistrates' court and were remanded in custody, police said.
