Rutland grandmother and veteran of Bletchley Park celebrates her 100th birthday




A much-loved grandmother who worked at code-breaking HQ Bletchley Park during the Second World War is celebrating her 100th birthday today (Thursday, July 30).

Mary Cramp, from Langham, was just 19 when the conflict started and had started a secretarial course.

She had no academic background but her skills did not go unnoticed and she swiftly moved up the ranks until finally being transferred to the famous country estate near Milton Keynes.
