A short documentary charting the removal of the sperm whales from Skegness beach has been created by a Grantham filmmaker.

William Ross interviewed some of the locals to get a perspective on the situation as the whales were getting removed.

He said: “I was able to get right up close to one of the whales and got some interesting shots before they got loaded on to the lorry which sent them off to landfill.

“There has clearly been much public interest in the story and it seems like it has had a big impact on the community.”
