Village groups and societies will come together on Sunday to demonstrate what they do for residents.
Nearly all the groups, clubs and societies in King’s Cliffe will take part in the day, which will be held at King’s Cliffe Village Hall between 11am and 3pm, to explain what they do and encouraging residents to join in with their activities.
The event will not also launch the village plan, a document which will draw up a wish list of how residents want to see King’s Cliffe develop over the next decade.
The Village Plan Group, set up by King’s Cliffe Parish Council, has been working on questionnaires to go to every person in the community to find out their views.
During the day there will be opportunities for villagers to see the plan, discuss it with members of the group and highlight things to add into the questionnaire.
The Underground centre for children and young people will also be open to offer a range of activities and there will be refreshments and a tombola.
Chairman of the Village Plan Group Jeanne Atkinson said: “The day is a unique opportunity to see the variety of King’s Cliffe life brought together in one place.”
