Villagers in Barrowden and Wakerley are preparing for their Christmas fair on Saturday, December 8.
Events will be held in Barrowden Village Hall and the village shop from 10am to 4pm.
Santa Claus will be in attendance and there will be an opportunity for children to have their photograph taken with him.
There will be lots of local artists’ stalls in the village hall and shop, with many unusual and affordable gift ideas, stocking fillers, and table decorations. Refreshments – bacon rolls, sausages rolls and mulled wine – will be available in the shop with tea, coffee, mince pies, soup and a roll in the village hall.
The shop will also have bran tub and Christmas hamper raffle.
In the village hall there will be fresh Christmas wreaths, ceramics sculptures, cookies and homemade fudge, dried fruit and flower decorations handcrafted jewellery and Derek the Magic Man will be there with his crazy card tricks.
