Visiting is temporarily restricted at Stamford Hospital's John Van Geest ward following a "cluster outbreak" of Covid-19.

The hospital made the announcement this afternoon (Friday, August 14) and said the restriction was a "preventative measure.

The statement said: "The restriction on visiting is a preventative measure to allow for swabbing and investigations to be completed and visiting will not be permitted until we can be sure that there are no further cases identified.
