Stamford residents can now buy visitor parking vouchers.

The scratchcard-style vouchers allow visitors to use in on-street parking bays within the town’s residents’ parking scheme boundaries.

Each book of 10 passes costs £15 and residents can purchase up to 10 books a year. They are available in person at South Kesteven District Council’s Maiden Lane office or for full residents’ parking permit holders on 01476 406404.

Permit holders will need to confirm their address when purchasing passes.

People can also apply for free vouchers to give to tradesmen working on their house from Lincolnshire County Council. A week’s notice is needed. Contact D Clark on 01522 782070 or waiverpermits@lincolnshire.gov.uk.
