Visitors once again flocked to the Burghley Game and Country Fair.
The fair, held at Burghley House on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, was once again a fantastic success according to Mark Hulme, from Living Heritage which organises the show.
He said: “When we woke up on Sunday, we were disappointed to see it was raining but it cleared and we had a reasonable day and Monday was a fantastic day.”
Traditional attractions at the show included gun dog shows, ferret racing, horse riding, falconry, wood carving, children’s amusements, angling and field sports such as archery and rifles.
The food hall is always a particular favourite among visitors and the craft stalls also attracted a lot of attention.
