Volunteers clear fencing from Fineshade Woods to boost wildlife

Volunteers spent a day day clearing vegetation from nearly 200 metres of fencing in Fineshade Woods to improve the area for wildlife.

The Friends of Fineshade were hard at work on Tuesday making space for the fence to be removed so the track can be widened.

It will make the area more appealing to wildlife which thrives in open spaces.

The project was run in conjunction with Back From The Brink which aims to protect threatened species.
