Preparations are underway for this year’s East Midlands In Bloom Competition, with in bloom judges set to visit the town on Monday, July 13.

In order to ensure that the town is presented at its best, Bourne Town Council is looking for volunteers to help with litter picking, weeding or deadheading.

Anyone who’s interested in lending a helping hand should contact the council on 01778 426123.

Bourne is aiming for gold this year after winning the Silver Gilt Award for the last three years.
