Which way did my councillor vote during Rutland County Council's meeting on the Housing Infrastructure Fund for St George's Barracks in North Luffenham?




Rutland County Council has released details of how members voted on funding for the St George's Barracks development.

The council voted to reject £29.4m from the Housing Infrastructure Fund to support the development of 2,245 homes at North Luffenham.

The decision was made in private because some of the debate involved commercially sensitive information.

Councillors who voted in favour of accepting the money were: Paul Ainsley (Con - Oakham North West); Nick Begy (Con - Greetham), Gordon Brown (Con - Ketton); June Fox (Con - Exton); Samantha Harvey (Con- Cottesmore); Oliver Hemsley (Con - Langham); Karen Payne (Con - Ketton); Ian Razzell (Con - Oakham South); Lucy Stephenson (Con - Uppingham); Alan Walters (Con - Oakham North East); David Wilby (Con - Ryhall and Casterton); Nick Woodley (Con - Oakham South)

Councillors who voted against accepting the money were: David Blanksby (Ind - Barleythorpe); Kenneth Bool (Con - Normanton); Andrew Brown (Ind - Lyddington); Joanna Burrows (Lib Dem - Oakham South); Richard Coleman (Ind - Ryhall and Casterton); William Cross (Con - Braunston); Jeff Dale (Ind- Oakham North East); Miranda Jones (Ind - Uppingham); Adam Lowe (Ind - Oakham North West); Abigail MacCartney (Lib Dem - Cottesmore); Rosemary Powell (Ind - Whissendine); Gale Waller (Lib Dem - Normanton); Sue Webb (Ind - Barleythorpe).

Councillors who abstained from the vote: were Edward Baines (Con - Braunston); Marc Oxley (Ind- Uppingham)
