A LIFESAVING defibrillator has been presented to an ambulance service.

Stamford and District Kiwanis received £1,000 from the Waitrose Community Matters appeal – and decided to buy a defribillator for the Stamford branch of St John Ambulance.

Waitrose community matters co-ordinator, Kelham Cooke, said: “We are delighted that the donation we gave the Stamford Kiwanis has now been put towards a valuable cause within our community.”
