Deeping St James residents report youths swimming in river at Scout Island for trespassing

Young people swimming in a river have been reported for trespassing.

Since the weather has been warmer, Lincolnshire Police has received reports that groups of youths who are playing in the river at Scout Island in Deeping St James have been trespassing into residents' back gardens.

Parents have been asked to make sure their children know to stay in the public areas and not stray into the gardens which back onto the river.
