Police are warning residents to be vigilant after a spate of burglaries and thefts have taken place in the last few weeks.

Officers are asking all members of the public to keep an eye out for suspicious activity in and around the area and to contact police if they see anything suspicious.

In the space of two weeks there have been three burglaries reported in both Market Deeping and Bourne. The first two burglaries took place in Market Deeping, one at a property in Hall Farm on Friday last week and another at a property in Lindsey Avenue on Sunday. In both cases the thieves entered the properties via a back door.

In Bourne a burglary took place at a property in Beech Avenue on Monday, with thieves entering the property via the back door.

Reported has also been the theft of a vehicle in Manor Way, Langtoft this week and the theft of a tool box and a generator from a vehicle in Princess Grove, Market Deeping on Friday last week.

If you have any information regarding any of these crimes or see anything suspicious please contact police on 101 or you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
