Waterski and caravan park plan at Tallington is approved despite 'David and Goliath' battle with neighbouring business Tallington Lakes

Plans put forward for a waterskiing venture and caravan park at a lake in Tallington have been approved a second time despite a 'David and Goliath' battle with a neighbouring business.

The plan, submitted by Mr and Mrs Craig Moore for Moorelake House, Barholm Road, was previously approved in 2018 but was quashed after it was considered by a judge at the High Court and the owners of neighbouring Tallington Lakes objected.

Mr and Mrs Moore later resubmitted to set up a commercial waterskiing and wakeboarding business and training facility and convert an existing garage/storage building into a clubhouse. They want to use part of the land for the siting of a maximum of 20 touring caravans with associated toilet and shower facilities.
