Woman in Priory Road, Stamford raises funds for Tolethorpe Hall

A woman is selling the harvest of her allotment to raise funds for Tolethorpe Hall.

Stamford Shakespeare Company, which is based at Tolethorpe Hall, revealed two weeks ago that it needed to recoup £240,000 in lost ticket sales to stay afloat and so far more than £25,805 has been raised.

To help the cause Catherine Mellor has set up a stall in front of her house in Priory Road, Stamford so that passers-by can purchase lavender branches, gourds and fresh flowers.
