Residents raise questions on Mallard Pass at Ryhall Village

Public consultations have been taking place this week to gather feedback on the Mallard Pass solar farm proposal, first announced in early November.

While many people have voiced strong concerns about the environmental and visual impact of such a scheme, other residents see the solar farm as ‘a step in the right direction’.

At the consultation held at Ryhall Village Hall on Tuesday, resident David Ingram said: “I’m not against it because it is a way of providing cleaner energy, and so long as it is properly organised and they take into account the environment and look after the wildlife.
