Wearing red to support the British Heart Foundation
Bourne Skip Hire and Recycling supported Wear It Beat It Red Day on Friday last week in aid of The British Heart Foundation.
Staff wore red T-shirts, courtesy of Smart Tec Embroidery. They also sold heart-shaped strawberry shortbread, tasty cupcakes courtesy of Baked With Love in Digby, and handcrafted heart chocolates courtesy of driver Steve Saddington and his wife Jane. The raffle for a bespoke heart book fold donated by Eileen Crossley, the accounts manager, was won by one of their customers from South Kesteven District Council, and the guess how many feathers on a 4ft feather boa competition was won by one of their drivers, Simon Bailey.
The day raised £200 for the charity.
